“Great Site…..Female Wardens not so greatApr 21, 2025 by Ambern Tim on Blakemere Touring Park“This was our 3rd visit to Blakemere and following our previous visits we decided to spend our Easter Holiday at the park. The site continues to be well maintained which is an absolute credit to the staff. However, we experienced some unnecessary comments from two of the female staff members one of which was the manager. Their passive aggressive attitude towards us was unwarranted. A fellow resident witnessed one of the comments and also commented that it wasn’t necessary. It’s such a shame because although we had a good stay, the staff concerned somewhat tarnished this.
“First visit to Blakemere Touring Park.Apr 21, 2025 by J5261Mmichaeld on Blakemere Touring ParkIt was our first visit to Blakemere Touring Park and in general we were extremely pleased. The pitch was a level gravel hardstanding with grass borders. it was fully serviced with Elec Water and a Grey Waste outlet. The facilities were of a very high standard albeit there was only one block to service the whole site. There was only one downside that effected us and that was the continual intrusion on our pitch. Although the site’s literature highlights the fact to not cross pitches but to use the paths and roadways this was in our case totally ignored. Admittedly this was mostly by children riding bikes and kicking balls, but having a ball kicked against an awning did necessitate a word and the child did in his defence apologise. It’s a silly gripe but it did dampen our enjoyment of the site. The added bonus of the “Blakemere Village” and its varied artisan shops and eateries along with the walking trails were excellent. For us to return we will probably ensure that it is not over holiday periods, but return we will.“
“The toilets and showers are pristine all the time .The pitches are very spacious we were in the paddock . Lots of water taps spread out and not to far to elson / waste water . The village is great on the doorstep albeit expensive for families .“Apr 18, 2025 by Michelle Beaver on Blakemere Touring Park
