Better T.V signal

Site wifi poor. Excellent food and service but expensive £56 for two meals and desserts.

We didn’t find 20% off voucher untill afterwards when too late.

This site is great. Friendly helpful staff, amenities are outstanding, very clean. A very peaceful site, well kept.

The shops and activities are great.

Ate in the restaurant twice during our stay, food was really good and 20% off was a real bonus with keyfob. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back for our free night with full stamp card and many more stays in the future. Love it here 🙂

Overall a pleasant stay and we will return for another stay.

 We only stayed for 1 night to try out our recently purchased campervan, the whole site is very clean with good size pitches, the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, there is a small shop on site and the amenities are very clean,
Food and drink available at Blakemere village next door which is only a few minutes walk through one of the gates.

 We found nothing to dislike

Clean family friendly staff friendly and much to do while on the park.

 It’s a lovely place to pitch its a nice clean site toilets and showers are clean and lovely looking there is a small shop and a dog friendly area where you can let them have a run then a small walk up the hill and there is loads for you and your family to do shops cafes restaurant rides for the kids small train track and a little place to show some owls there is a teepee tent for a drink in the evening to unwind after the kids have had there fun with food stall around it and while we was there the light show was on for a Halloween event it was brilliant and well run lots to look at and great for the kids it wasn’t to scary for them it was magical would definitely come back to this site again and we did we book the next weekend

Good well laid out site with a lot of activities for all ages nearby.

 Nice well kept site with a lot to visit and do nearby. Toilets and showers very clean. Friendly staff.

A pint of Promises in the Wee Howff pub nearby was a really nice beer.
Soft play area nearby was excellent for my grandson.

 Penalised for being classed as a continental motorhome. Not sure what the issue is with this as to me, its just a habitation door and should not matter which way you face. First time I’ve encountered such a strange instruction. Waste of time upgrading to gold as grey water hose did not reach due to this.

Wifi extremely poor.

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your time at Blakemere.To address your concerns as being “Penalised” for being classed as a continental – We are guided by our site licence conditions, fire and privacy regulations that are issued by Cheshire West & Chester Council.Rules for pitching continental caravans/motorhomes on pitches typically involve spacing to prevent fire hazards, such as the six-meter rule for adjacent units, and adhering to site-specific regulations for pitch layout, occupancy and privacy. Additionally, there are general rules regarding the caravan/motorhome’s physical condition, and its ability to be moved off pitch in case of an emergency.In fact, some sites don’t even permit Continental units due to their individual site licence and pitching policies.We can assure you that you were certainly not “punished” for having a Continental unit and we try our best to accommodate all units on site.As you had a continental motorhome, all we asked, when you checked in, is that you either reverse onto the opposite side of the pitch OR drive in on the side we specify as per our pitch policy. Thus, ensuring we meet our licensing and privacy conditions.Just for clarification, our Gold fully serviced pitches are all hardstanding with EHU, TV aerial point, freshwater tap and grey waste disposal grid. As you could not use the grey waste drainage, we do have Silver pitches which are hardstanding with EHU in our Paddock area and then our Motorhome service point is located outside our amenities block.Unfortunately, we cannot always guarantee Wi-Fi connection, it can sometimes be hit and miss due to a lot of factors, not always down to our Wi-Fi, as we were informed that EE and Vodaphone had issues in the area at the time.We hope that the above gives some explanation as to why we ask our guests to pitch a certain way and do hope that you will stay with us again.

Excellent site with a clean pitch and good showering/toilet facilities. Theres a fair amount to do with Blakemere village just outside the site. Would highly recommend

Absolutely superb stay!

Fabulous stay, very helpful and friendly staff, spotlessly clean facilities. Few minutes walk from the Village. Highly recommend.

 The gold touring pitch was excellent, the amenities on the site could only be described as spotless and warm, Reception was exceptionally welcoming and the maintenance team obviously took pride in their site. the whole experience was added to by the adjacent Blakemere village where retail entertainment alongside food and drink was in abundance. All in all a site that we extended our stay at simply to have a Sunday lunch in the Village Restaurant and one will definitely be going back to.

 The only things that we would class as cons and not really dislikes were that the off lead dog area could have been somewhat larger especially as room was in abundance to do this, the current size was adequate but when two or more dogs were using it at one time along with owners it was a little restrictive.
The only other thing that seemed to be ignored by some (the absolute minority) was the concept of quiet time from 10pm onwards as on our first night this was not adhered to by one group of visitors until circa 1am.

Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry you felt the dog enclosure was a little small, we will pass this onto the owners at the next meeting. We do have an emergency phone number that is on the reception door and over at the amenities block that you can call our wardens on 24 hours a day for any issues that may arise, including any noise related problems after 10pm so we can rectify the situation at the time for all our guests staying on site. We are glad you had a brilliant stay, despite the first night, and we look forward to welcomimg you back again in the near future.

 Everything, the amenities were extremely good, the disabled bathroom was exalent, good pitch size, the staff were all very helpful and friendly & the site was spotless. Blakemere site was right next to Blakemere village, with artisan shops, & places to eat & drink. It was very easy to find, just off a main road
