Yet another visit for us to Blakemere possibly our last this year ,the weather was not kind with cold and rain but there was as always a warm welcome on site and in the villiage finished off with drink in the Wee Howff with Mike and friends .Our next visit will be March time hopefully , but till then myself and Laurie thank the staff for another most enjoyable stay and wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year .If you have never stayed at Blakemere have a look and give it a whirl its well visited and central for daily excursions .Thank you.

We will be back! Lovely stay.

Cracking site. Easy access from main roads. A lovely little quirky village with bespoke shops feauturing a small soft play (additional charge). A nice restaurant. Fantastic serviced pitches and immaculate amenity block. We will most definately be back.

Even better if: play area was enhanced as would likely come with a few friends who also have young children then. That said there is a park and its in a good spot would likely use more at a different time of year.

As mentioned can’t fault the place or the staff. Friendly and accommodating.

Maybe some live entertainment in Blakemere social on a Saturday night. There was also no heating on in Blakemere Social so left early due to being cold.

Only downside was wifi, couldn’t watch netflix on it.

Thank you for the feed back. We are sorry your wifi wasn't very good. This could be that the site was at full capacity, the weather wasn't favourable and we are in a rural area. Therefore we don't charge for the wifi onsite. We are glad you had a peaceful break and we hope to see you again soon 🙂

We stayed here for 3 nights, the campsites is very clean, the toilet/ shower block was spotlessly clean. The food in the village restaurant was beautiful. Everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning guests.

Easy to find and easy access to site
Pitches are a decent size and not difficult to get on to
Nice walk to village shops and tge bar

Utilities (electric and water) bollards are not well laid out for pitches

Recycling can and bottles/jars

Thank you for the feed back. We pay a fee to the company that collect all our waste from site to sort out the recycling for us. We do have seperate glass bins positioned around site along with general waste bins. Hope this alleviates your concerns 🙂
