𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐥 & 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐁𝐐 𝐁𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞
We appreciate that some guests may be disappointed, but safety of our guests, site, and staff remains our absolute priority. We want to clear up any confusion regarding our temporary outdoor cooking rules.
As a reminder, all charcoal BBQs are strictly prohibited 𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 on site. Furthermore, the government-wide ban on disposable BBQs remains fully in force, making them completely illegal on our site.
We want to clarify the timeline and why these rules are still active:
⭐In Effect Since July: This strict ban has been actively enforced since the middle of July.
⭐Rainfall is Not Enough: While we have seen some recent rainfall, it has not been sufficient to lower the deep-seated fire risks or lift the ban.
⭐The Hidden Risk: Charcoal embers and disposable foil trays retain intense heat for hours, easily sparking major fires in dry underlying terrain.
⭐Approved Cooking Only: Hot food preparation is strictly limited to designated gas or electric appliances.
⭐Additionally, we would appreciate your cooperation in disposing of any cigarettes with caution.
Please help us keep everyone safe and report any hazards to a team member straight away.
We will continue to monitor the fire risk and lift this restriction as soon as conditions improve and its safe to do so. A reminder that open flame fires/fire pits are 𝗡𝗢𝗧 permitted anywhereon site.

Something for everyone …
The facilities at our holiday park are outstanding and include pristine toilets and showers, an on-site licensed store, “The Den” games room with a pool table and the addition of a football table, table tennis (seasonal), children’s play area, a huge recreation field and an enclosed dog walking area. We also have available 4 dedicated EV Chargers located in our car park area. Live on the Fuuse network app.
We are extremely family and dog friendly, as is Blakemere Village tourist attraction adjacent to the site.
Blakemere is just a few steps away and offers visitors a great selection of independent shops, eateries, and bars as well as an extensive range of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages to enjoy.
Delamere Forest is just a few miles down the road and we have many beautiful local walks and cycle routes to enjoy right on our doorstep. Don’t miss out on the award-winning eateries, farm shops, and country pubs nearby, plus some of Cheshire’s finest stately homes and gardens.

The Gerrard family has owned Blakemere since 1952 and originally farmed the 20-acre site including pig breeding, keeping dairy cows, and arable farming.
In 1994 after an intensive diversification project, Blakemere opened its doors as a Cheshire tourist attraction and grew from strength to strength. In 2015 Blakemere Touring Park joined the portfolio and has evolved into the touring, holiday, and luxury glamping park it is known as today. So, from our family to your family we wish you an enjoyable stay in this beautiful little part of Cheshire that we love and call home.

This was our first time here and it won’t be our last. The pitches were perfect- lots of room between each one. Plenty of bins which were always tidy. The dog walking area was great and there were plenty of doggy poo bins. The onsite eating was so good and again all the staff were amazing. The pizzas were delicious, as were the breakfasts. “Highly recommend Me and my two children booked an electric hook up pitch for the second time and it was even better than the first time! There’s so much to do, so much to explore. “New Guest at Blakemere. We booked a pitch for our Motorhome for a couple of nights to attend, an on site, wedding. The greeting was excellent, very informative and how to get to our pitch fully explained with a map and other useful information. The entire site is clean and well maintained. Everything is well sign posted and easy to find. Our Pitch was very spacious, all the pitches appeared the same. The facilities are brilliant, again very clean, well maintained. The other campers were friendly and rule abiding. Would not hesitate to recommend this site, a pleasure to be a guest. The wedding we attended was brilliant too, well organized and all involve were fantastic. Many thanks to all the staff at Blakemere you are a credit to your employers.
