🔥IMPORTANT SITE SAFETY INFORMATION🔥
𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 12th August 2026
As the hot, dry weather persists, areas of Blakemere Holiday Park and the adjacent woodland areas remain at a significant fire risk. Last month, we made the difficult decision to temporarily prohibit the use of disposable and charcoal barbecues throughout the site, including our Holiday Home and Glamping areas.
**𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.**
Gas barbecues and gas cooking stoves are still permitted, but we kindly request that you use them responsibly and ensure they are positioned a safe distance from your tent, awning, caravan, motorhome, campervan or lodge. Please ensure a bucket of water is nearby and dampen the ground under and around the area before and during cooking for added safety.
We will continue to monitor the fire risk and lift this restriction as soon as conditions improve. A reminder that open fires/fire pits are 𝗡𝗢𝗧 allowed anywhere on site. We appreciate that some guests may be disappointed, but the safety of all our guests, staff, and Holiday Park is our utmost priority.

Something for everyone …
The facilities at our holiday park are outstanding and include pristine toilets and showers, an on-site licensed store, “The Den” games room with a pool table and the addition of a football table, table tennis (seasonal), children’s play area, a huge recreation field and an enclosed dog walking area. We also have available 4 dedicated EV Chargers located in our car park area. Live on the Fuuse network app.
We are extremely family and dog friendly, as is Blakemere Village tourist attraction adjacent to the site.
Blakemere is just a few steps away and offers visitors a great selection of independent shops, eateries, and bars as well as an extensive range of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages to enjoy.
Delamere Forest is just a few miles down the road and we have many beautiful local walks and cycle routes to enjoy right on our doorstep. Don’t miss out on the award-winning eateries, farm shops, and country pubs nearby, plus some of Cheshire’s finest stately homes and gardens.

The Gerrard family has owned Blakemere since 1952 and originally farmed the 20-acre site including pig breeding, keeping dairy cows, and arable farming.
In 1994 after an intensive diversification project, Blakemere opened its doors as a Cheshire tourist attraction and grew from strength to strength. In 2015 Blakemere Touring Park joined the portfolio and has evolved into the touring, holiday, and luxury glamping park it is known as today. So, from our family to your family we wish you an enjoyable stay in this beautiful little part of Cheshire that we love and call home.
