Camping at Blakemere

We have two great camping areas on our site but as we have limited grass pitches with electric hook up these are only bookable over the phone, so please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we will help you select the best spot to pitch up.

We both loved our 10 night stay and would strongly suggest that this hits the “not to be missed “ type of venue. After day 3 our son, daughter in law along with our lovely grandson joined us and we found our stay to be a well overdue family break that we all enjoyed.
The site coupled with the village gave us plenty to do, with the bonus of a gin festival that took place over the weekend. with having dogs, the wood land Walks were wonderful covering a vast area including lovely bike ride areas, both on and off track.
All amenities were 100% clean, hygienic and COVID distancing compliant, operating a wrist band entrance, max 3, to shower toilet and wash areas. All those on site were very friendly as well as social and complied with 10pm wind down time. Warden and assistant warden were always at hand to offer support and to make your stay as enjoyable as it could be. The only thing they could not control was the weather however it was lovely throughout
Until the next time

Great campsite been many times only issues, feels like if the face fits you will get the pitch! picked pitches on a number of occasions only to be told we can’t guarantee the pitch, so why let you pick it ? you get to site and another camper is in your pitch and you’ve been bumped, no reason because that camper leaves and packs up the same day you do ?

Lovely site and the facilities were kept spotlessly clean.

Excellent Camp Site, everything was great. Definitely Covid safe, with great care taken to ensure that all amenities were cleaned and sanitised at all times.

Thank you Blakemere for making our stay so enjoyable.

Great surrounding area with shops, activities and a pub.

Unable to leave between 22:00 and 08:00. This is an issue for anyone needing to get an early start on the drive home.
