Needs more lights

Visited the site twice over the past month. Definitely needs more lights as very dark to walk around or when checking in as goes dark early.

Great site not far from Chester easy to get to.

Welcoming staff very clean site. Fully serviced pitch was very handy. Blakemere shopping a short walk away and 20% off in the restaurant there for site users. The shower block was the best we have used. Was a bit tight to reverse onto the pitch we were on, no4, had to use the motor mover. Would have had to push it if we didn’t have one like our last caravan.

 Good site with excellent facilities and pleasant staff.

 Rumour has it that pitches will be mid £45 next year, the cost of a room at Premier Inn, maybe it’s time to sell the motorhome and travel about in the car with cash in the Bank ?

Yet another visit for us to Blakemere possibly our last this year ,the weather was not kind with cold and rain but there was as always a warm welcome on site and in the villiage finished off with drink in the Wee Howff with Mike and friends .Our next visit will be March time hopefully , but till then myself and Laurie thank the staff for another most enjoyable stay and wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year .If you have never stayed at Blakemere have a look and give it a whirl its well visited and central for daily excursions .Thank you.

Cracking site. Easy access from main roads. A lovely little quirky village with bespoke shops feauturing a small soft play (additional charge). A nice restaurant. Fantastic serviced pitches and immaculate amenity block. We will most definately be back.

Even better if: play area was enhanced as would likely come with a few friends who also have young children then. That said there is a park and its in a good spot would likely use more at a different time of year.

As mentioned can’t fault the place or the staff. Friendly and accommodating.
