Great place to stay ,nice poeple.

Could not of picked a better time to stay in march as the daytime weather was fab .Being a regular camper here we know how good the facilities are with small improivements on going. Staff permanently happy so always a helpfull smile .Also after time you get to know the inhabitants of the villiage which prompts catch up conversations.Then a pop down to the Wee Houff for a pint to finish the day off.So well worth a visit ,easy reach of Chester and surrounding area ,check out the website for more info.

St Patrick’s day event.

Best place to stay , plenty to do. Friendly staff , clean facilities. Recommend to many people to stay there. Shops are well stocked and very friendly. The main restaurant is very good , the breakfast superb.

Would happily stay here again and recommend.

 Only stayed as a layover on our travels but would happily return for a longer stay
Staff were very friendly and accommodating
Pitches were huge and nicely laid out
Facilities were immaculate, clean and hot showers was also helpful having the chair hung up in the showers
Radio in there was a nice bonus too!
Had people working there doing little maintenance jobs keeping the site looking fresh and modern and well kept which you don’t see very often.

Not to make our stay more enjoyable. We would recommend having a recycle bin for tin/cans.

Not an authentic Irish night!

We have stayed at Blakemere a number of times before and enjoyed our stays and we will definitely be back again!
The reason for the review is that we visited for the “Authentic Irish night” this was nothing like that description!
The food was burgers and hot dogs, no Irish stew, colcannon etc. there was only one Guinness pump which you had to wait an age for.
The music prior to and after the band was just thumping bass pop music so loud you couldn’t discern the lyrics, no Irish content whatsoever. Event the band who I know are excellent musicians only played one recognisable Irish song in the first half. No fiddles no banjos no bodhrans etc.
If you want a loud rave or disco night then that’s fine just don’t advertise it as an authentic Irish night. The music was so bad we couldn’t wait for the band to come on again so we left. The noise could still be heard at the far end of the touring site at midnight despite there being a quiet time of 10pm!
As stated we will definitely be back to the touring park and village but definitely not for any events dressed up as something else.

Excellent facilities.

So much to do, site was lovely and clean, staff really friendly and helpful. It was our first touring experience and we loved it despite the rain. Would definitely recommend Blakemere, we are already looking to book again.

Great Site.

This is a great site with lovely staff and great facilities. We really enjoyed The Village breakfasts and the shops were lovely to walk around. Great Antique barns. Highly recommend. Booking was easy and our spot was perfect for us as I have issues walking.

Great site spoilt by road.

 Great site lots to do

 Gravel road was very dirty , would put us off going again due to amount of dirt in the van

We have re-surfaced the roads and pitches on the main site and are hopeful to carry on the work into the paddock area where you were pitched by the end of the year funds permitting. Fabulous relaxing weekend.

Great site very clean and absolutely loads to do .Activitys shopping kids fair and restaurant with pub .Very helpful wardens who assisted where necessary.The hard standing pitch we booked was in the paddock ,which is very private and kept to a very high standard.
