Perfect location for what we wanted.
Staff were friendly and really welcoming ,the site clean and shower blocks were spot on.
The village next door was really nice to visit as well.

 The site is very clean and the toilets and showers were really good up there with the best very modern and plenty of room.
Also I thought it was a good thing to have the chair in the shower cubicle 👍

Lovely half term break.

Just back from our half term trip. As always with Blakemere Holiday Park, the staff were welcoming, facilities were clean and the park kept in top form at all times. There are some brilliant walks locally with the woodland area on site and Delemere just 10 minutes away. Very handy for Oulton Park.

The Hollies is a lovely visit and the Eastern Balti House is a beautiful Indian take away.

 A really lovely, well kept site. The toilets and showers were very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also love that there are shops, pub, restaurants all in walking distance. Lots to do in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

This ia a lovely family friendly caravan site with things for children to do, my girls enjoyed everything available and it is secure so felt safe letting my youngest go to the park with her sister on her own.

Lovely site with lovely staff.

Facilities are great with hot showers. I also love the added touch of music in there!

Our family arrived at this caravan site hopeful for a relaxing stay, though that hope disappeared almost immediately. From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel anything but welcome. Professionalism was nowhere to be found.

One staff member in particular seemed to have a personal issue with us. Her behaviour felt openly hostile. She marched over the second we arrived, shouting about our cars being parked the “wrong way” while we were still getting our bearings after a long journey. Strangely, two other caravans parked the exact same way the very next day received no comment at all. The double standard felt targeted and completely unfair. There is a certain way to speak to people, especially paying customers, and this approach was nowhere near acceptable. She didn’t appear approachable at all, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.

Her treatment of the children was even worse. They were excitedly browsing toys in the shop, doing absolutely nothing wrong, yet she raised her voice at them as though they were causing trouble. No child deserves to be made to feel like that, especially when they are simply choosing a toy to buy. Later, one of the children was shouted at again for using an e-scooter, even though others on the site appeared to be using them without any issue. This one woman alone brings the site to its lowest standards.

The park itself has a large grassy area near the children’s play equipment, yet no ball games are allowed. Children should be able to enjoy their holiday, not feel constantly restricted for simply wanting to play.

The facilities on the site are also nowhere near an acceptable standard. Only one waste disposal point for the entire park, and just two sinks available for cleaning. On top of that, the site is extremely poorly lit at night, making it feel unsafe and uncomfortable to walk around after dark. The WiFi and phone signal are also terrible, which makes organising anything or staying connected very difficult.

Overall, our experience was stressful, unpleasant, and left us feeling singled out for no good reason. A holiday is meant to be enjoyable. This site delivered the exact opposite. Absolutely would NOT recommend.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your 5-night stay with us.To address some of your comments made on Trip Advisor whilst staying.On your arrival and booking in at before 1pm, you were given site information and map for your stay. This included information on how to park your caravan/car on pitch, the one-way system in place, and grassed area between caravans for the fire break to assist us to comply with our site health and safety regulations, so when another member of staff, doing her walk around later that afternoon, saw an issue she politely pointed this out.Again, as per the information given,( and our terms and conditions), e-scooters are not allowed anywhere on Blakemere Holiday Park or the Village as they are classed as motor vehicles under the Road Traffic Act 1988 and it is illegal to ride them without insurance, licence and protective clothing.Like most sites, football is not allowed anywhere on the main site. Damage has been caused to guests’ cars, caravans, motorhomes and even children have been injured. Instead, all we ask is that all ball games are played on the large recreational field opposite reception, where football nets for this purpose are located.The site map also gives the location of the 4 disposal points on site together with the 2 outside and 2 indoor sinks (heated area).All our site lighting is timed to the regulations specified. We do advise that if using the facilities after midnight then torches may be useful. but as you were only 2 pitches away from a fully lit amenities block, we are not too sure why this was an issueAs we are in a rural area, phone and Wi-Fi signals can be poor, this is not the fault of the site, it’s the providers that are used as some are better than others on site.The staff member concerned, was polite and courteous and it did not warrant the aggressiveness and the confrontational abuse she received whilst carrying out her duties. This was witnessed by other quests staying nearby on site.The site health & safety regulations are there for the safety of ALL our guests to enable them to have a safe and enjoyable stay on site.If you would like to return to collect the several items left on your pitch on departure, we will keep them for 7 days. We have disposed of the dirty nappies and rubbish on your behalf.

One of best sites ever been too.

Excellent stay. Great facilities, spotless
And a good mix of shops.
Only downside , pub on site food good but expensive. Good sized pitches with amenities close
