Last minute booking that didn’t disappoint

We booked this last minute after recently buying a motor home. We have been to many sites over the north west and this is by far my favourite , we managed to bag a gold pitch , the facilities are great, even though it was winter and snowing amenities block was warm and clean, the little village itself is great and there is something for everyone . We booked 3 nights however had to leave a day early and I was gutted. We will be returning in the spring/summer so we can enjoy all the facilities . It was recommended to me by my colleagues and I would highly recommend families , couples to visit Blakemere.

Lovely friendly site.

 Staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely big pitches.spotless facilities and great surroundings.

Great site

This is a great site with very clean modern facilities with music, a nice touch.
The site is conveniently located for Chester zoo and Chester city as well as Delamere forest and surrounding villages.

The staff were so helpful. Our heating packed in, they gave us numbers of people to phone and checked on us. Very helpful staff for our first stay we will definitely visit again.

Faultless.

My 2nd time at Blakemere albeit for a single night stopover on Christmas Day when visiting family in Sandiway.
The person I spoke to ( Lisa) was very helpful and took the booking over the phone when I rang to make enquiries.

On arrival, despite it being Christmas Day I was met at the site office and booked in without any fuss.

My pitch was on The Paddock. It was relatively quiet compared to my summer visit with my grandchildren.

I thought the pitch was spacious and well maintained. The washroom amenities were spotless ( as was the whole site) and perhaps more importantly at this time of year, very warm !
Looking forward to revisiting later in the year with my grandchildren and taking advantage of the activities of the adjoining Blakemere Village.

The Wifi is shocking, it wasnot working for around 90% of the time I was here.

Additional charges for dogs, awnings etc make it very expensive.

Thank you for your valued feed back. We are sorry your wifi wasn't very good. This could be that the site was at full capacity, the weather wasn't favourable and we are in a rural area. Therefore we don't charge for the wifi onsite.

Overall a lovely site and will definitely visit again.

Great site, well laid out, facilities are very clean, well maintained, heated and with music.
Pitches are of adequate size for a motorhome and separate car, many would accommodate an awning as well.

 There isn’t anything we disliked about this site and would definitely visit again. If you have transport then Chester is a lovely place to visit.
Nearest shop is Waitrose which is expensive.
