Home from home facilities … Blakemere Touring & Holiday Park
Our park has a large modern amenities block that has hot showers, toilets, disabled facilities, a family shower room with the baby change, a laundry, food preparation, and dishwashing area that will provide you with all the comforts of home during your stay.
For those families wanting to play ball games and indulge in some good old-fashioned fun, we have a dedicated field adjoining the touring & holiday park for just this purpose. There is a small play area behind the amenities block as well as a free outdoor adventure play park for those aged 2 to 10 years in front of the Edwardian Courtyard.
To eat and drink
Blakemere’s licensed restaurant is open daily and serves home-made daily specials, breakfasts, snacks and afternoon teas, and barista coffees along with an all-you-can-eat Sunday buffet breakfast and fabulous Sunday carvery.
Blakemere Village Social has an outdoor heated tipi which is also open every weekend until late and daily during school holidays. It offers an outdoor licenced bar and provides a food and drink takeaway and delivery service via their ‘Busy Bee Buggy’ to both the Touring & Holiday Park and the Wee Howff bar, also based on site.
Dogs are very welcome at Blakemere Touring & Holiday Park. We have an amazing large exercise field where your four legged friends can be let off the lead if they have good recall and if not check out our ENCLOSED dog exercise area where they can safely be let off.
Dogs are also welcome at The Village Restaurant & Coffee Bar and Blakemere Social on Blakemere Village, a short stroll from the site. They allow assistance & guide dogs within the restaurant and also have two dog-friendly designated tables inside for colder days as well as a great outside terrace to sit with your best friend when the sun is out where you can find a water barrel for them to enjoy a drink with you.
On Blakemere Village we also have “INNOSCENT SPA” Dog Grooming and they are offering our guests 10% off grooming (must show your barrier fob). So why not book in your pooch for a pamper whilst staying on site (advance booking required) and then take advantage of Sandiway Ales next door (also dog friendly) to have a drink and natter while you wait!
Individual businesses at Blakemere Village may or may not allow dogs to enter their premises but this is at their discretion. So look out for the dog friendly stickers in the shop windows.
All we ask is that dogs are exercised in the designated areas and walked on a short lead at all times when walking around on site or on Blakemeere Village and if they do happen to make a mess, please pick it up and pop it in the bins provided.
